Insoles can help you transition from regular shoes to
minimalist ones, switching too quickly can cause
issues.
They also provide a bit of extra insulation when
it's chilly. Heaps of our customers start with the
included insole and take it out as they adjust. We
also stock thicker insoles in our shop if you need a
bit more cushion.
The name "barefoot shoe" is about the wide shape and flexible material that mimics walking barefoot, it doesn't mean you have to go sockless! Whether you wear socks is totally up to you, but most of our customers do wear socks with theirs.
